All Fire Trak orders must be placed on a Fire Trak Order Form to ensure correct dimensions.
There are four basic Fire Trak Profiles and each has a separate order form:
Shadowline – Designed for most applications
Shadowline Order Forms are available for download online.
Cavity Shadowline – Designed for cavity and shaft walls
Cavity Shadowline Order Forms are available for download online.
Reveal – Designed for an exposed joint
Reveal Order Forms are available upon request.
Cavity Reveal - Designed for exposed joint in shaft wall

Standard Dimensions:
QTY: Number of pieces being ordered
GAUGE: Gauge of material being ordered
Dim ‘A’: Top Leg
1-1/2” standard
2” when the bottom leg (Dim B) exceeds 2-1/2”
Dim ‘B’: Bottom Leg (determines how much deflection track will provide)
1-1/2” standard for 1” of deflection
Typically 1/2” longer than the deflection required
Maximum length is 6-1/2” for 6” deflection
Dim ‘C’ & Dim ‘D’: Wall material thickness
5/8” standard for 1 hour rating on partition
1-1/4” standard for 2 hour rating on partition
Dim C and Dim D can be the same size or they can be differing sizes (i.e. Dim C = 5/8” and Dim D = 1-1/4”)
Dim ‘E’: The same as the stud size
Fire Trak can accommodate any size stud
Minimum stud size on a fire-rated partition is 2-1/2”
For smaller than 2-1/2” stud sized, the track will not be U.L. labeled
Order Form Guidelines:
Orders will not be processed without an authorization signature.
Filling out order forms completely with correct project, billing and shipping information will avoid delays in processing or shipping.
Fire Trak is a specialty item and many tracks need to be manufactured for specific job conditions.
There is a $100.00 setup fee on orders under 10 pieces combined.
Fire Trak is sold in 10 foot lengths
Posi Klips or Redi Klips are required by Underwriters Laboratories when the deflection requirements of the Fire Trak System exceeds 2 inches (or Dim. B is 3 inches or larger).
